Company Info

Hello,

Thanks for taking the time to read the story of how a Liberal Studies major at San Diego State University became a roofing contractor! I grew up in Tustin California (in Orange County). When it was time to go to college I decided to come down to SDSU. I quickly learned that I needed to earn money to continue my studies. In the summer of 1987 I was working for my uncle’s roofing company as a journeyman roofer. I saved up enough money that summer to purchase an old Dodge pick up.

When school started again in the fall I decided to go out knocking on doors and talking with homeowners about their roof. Soon work began to pile up. I was only a year away from getting my Liberal Studies degree when I decided that roofing was going to be my career. I quit school to focus on my new business.

I was thrilled to get my California Contractors License at age 24. I have NEVER had a single complaint on my record. My paper license is framed and hanging on my wall in my office.

Thank you for considering my company for your roofing project. EVERY single job is an opportunity of a lifetime for me. I am not in the yellow pages or other mass marketing. Your roofing referrals to your friends make the difference between success and failure to me. I will NEVER forget that!

Sincerely,

Bernard Russell
